80% das pessoas na Internet são ignorantes, mas o pior não é isso, o pior é que essas pessoas em vez de usarem a Internet para adquirirem conhecimento, fazem dela a casa dos porcos e destroem-na aos poucos.
Será que têm medo de gastar a massa cinzenta que têm na cabeça, ou simplesmente não a têm?

Hmm.
I know what you mean, but I would say that the internet is these days pretty representative of humans in general. So the percentage of humans who are ignorant is nothing to do with whether they use the internet or not. It would be more accurate just to say;
“80% of people are ignorant”.
The internet has nothing to do with it, really. You can just as accurately say; “80% of people at the supermarket are ignorant”, or “80% of people at the cafe are ignorant”…etc.
So I agree with your sentiment but don’t think it is relevant to single out the internet for particular attention.
What I, depressingly, do disagree with you about is that it is only 80%, and also that these people are only ignorant. Firstly as I think your figure is too generous and also because I agree with Bruno in his comment above, so if I had written your post I would have titled it;
“85%% of all humans are stupid, a further 10% are are not quite as stupis but are ignorant and clearly wish to remain that way, which leaves approximately only 5% of all humans capable of being both smart and able to become smarter”.
However, even though I suspect that that is much closer to the truth it’s also even more depressing, and, anyway, it is too long for a title.
